In language, we have learned the meaning of words, and using these words in writing in sentence form, too. We are also adding comas and capalizations. We have also learned about interupters, openers, and closers.

Sixth and seventh grade students have been writing about their least favorite meals. You should read what these kids can write. It is hard to have an appetite for lunch after hearing what they have to say! They are really learning to use figurative language to their advantage!

Some students have written about the wisdom they have gained from their grandparents. We talk about incorporating wisdom into our writing. That is important if we are using writing to make sense of our lives!
