Sudan High School Bold Gold Band
Itinerary for October 13th Marching Band Contests
7:00 a.m. Report to Sudan in full uniform. Loading crew began loading. Do not be late!!! Don’t forget: black socks, poncho, instrument, hat and a great attitude!!!! Busses will load by class.
7:30 a.m. Leave for Lowery Field in Lubbock.
8:45 a.m. Arrive, unload and prepare for warm up.
9:00 a.m. Warm up.
9:45 a.m. Performance at the Lubbock Marching Invitational.
10:00 a.m. Load busses and change.
10:30 a.m. Depart for Lubbock Mall.
11:00 a.m. Enjoy lunch and leisure time at the mall. You are not to leave the mall for ANY reason. We will provide you with lunch money. Do not be late for report time.
12:45 p.m. Report back to the bus for roll.
1:00 p.m. Head for PHS Bulldog Stadium in Plainview.
2:00 p.m. Arrive in Plainview, change into uniform and unload.
3:15 p.m. Warm up.
4:00 p.m. Performance for Plainview Marching Festival.
4:15 p.m. Change and load everything on the busses. If you want to return on the early bus, you need to load ALL OF YOUR STUFF on to bus 2 (Mr. Robertson).
4:45 p.m. Early bus will head back to Sudan. Make sure all of your stuff is with you! Everyone staying will eat dinner (provided by boosters) and then head to the stands to watch the rest of the competition.
6:00 p.m. Early bus will arrive home. EVERYONE on the early bus is required to help unload the bus.
8:00 p.m. Awards Ceremony
8:45 p.m. Head back home
10:00 p.m. Arrive home and unload.
Remember!!!!
You are an ambassador of your school and community the entire time you are on this trip. You are to be on your absolute best behavior. All school and band rules apply at ALL TIMES!!! Any infractions will result in you not participating in any band function in the future!
